For Every Season

Hello friends! I think I have been hibernating a bit. Maybe you have to?

The Hewitt family recently invited me to take a few photos of them in the recent snow. Mary Catherine has been wanting to get some photos of a route that she and her little man walk regularly and this sparked an idea. The For Every Season Session was born. I will join their family four times this year in the same spot for a mini session. The Hewitts will be able to look back on 2015 and watch their growth during each season of the year.

I am incredibly excited about this adventure we are embarking on. The result is going to be so much fun!! We all know little ones grow quickly but after their For Every Season session is complete we will really see how much he has grown! Such a dream to live life with a family and document every day moments that aren't staged or forced. And side-note: the price of For Every Season is cheaper than any other package when you look at the cost for each session(!).

Thanks to the Hewitts for joining me on this journey! And if you are interested in this option shoot me an email or Facebook message!

Hayden's First Birthday

They are the cutest.
Hayden has turned 1!! Do you remember his sweet pictures from mini sessions last year? I can't believe this little guy is 1. And I don't think his parents can believe it either. I had such a blast at his party and have shared more about the decor and such over on Paper Pearl so check that out. It was a mustache and bow-tie theme if you can't tell.

We had a quick few minutes for some photos before the party began and of course I had to document all the fun during the partay ya'll. I love it all. So much fun I tell ya!

Hayden's friend Mason even got a sweet bow-tie

He knows how this works...

Want some dad?!

You and Yours Sessions

As my sweet cousin Chloe (on the left with her roommates above) and my sweet clients Tyler and Melinda graduate I am reminded of the friends I made in High School and College. I would have loved to have taken a few fun photos with them before we all parted ways. If you or someone you know feels the same, don't worry. I'm here to help!

Shoot me a facebook message to schedule a session before you have to say goodbye!

Surprise Mom with Photos!

I know most men and children don't enjoy photo shoots; but Moms love to have photos of their loves so show Mom some love this Mother's Day (May 11) and surprise her with a photo shoot!

I am offering 11% off family sessions if you gift a session to Mom this Mother's Day. Shoot me a facebook message if you are interested in purchasing a gift certificate for your Mom or a Mom you know.

Congratulations Melinda!

I realized on my way to Melinda's shoot that about 10 years ago I was doing the same thing with my mother that she and her mother were about to do...a high school senior portrait session. Yes, I said 10 years. It's hard to say.

But back to Melinda's excitement! I had to hold myself back from posting every image we took...this beautiful girl did not take a bad picture. And the setting of the Knoxville Botanical Gardens was absolutely perfect and at peak bloom! So beautiful. Everything about this session.

Congratulations Melinda!

Keeping up with the Joneses in Paducah

While visiting baby Ian in Paducah I was also able to meet and spend some time with the Joneses of Paducah. This family of four is busy with their 4 year-old and their 6 week-old. I might have worked up a sweat trying to keep up with their busy and expressive 4 year-old. I love the imagination of that kid. They might have a budding actress on their hands.
