Waiting for Miss Berkley

Love that our paths crossed over Thanksgiving and I love these two (almost three). I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos about four years ago and the joy of participating in their nuptials. Then to top it all off they are awaiting the arrival of their baby girl and asked me to capture some memories from this time in their life.

Brittany and John will be two of the best parents I have no doubt. I can't wait to meet Miss Berkley!

OBX Love: Taylor + Katherine

Super pumped to post these sweet moments I was able to share with my youngest bro-in-law and my other new sister to be! So glad the hubs has two brothers...I was really hoping I would get two awesome sisters one day. Check!

We found a little extra time while at the Outer Banks over Thanksgiving break and I had a blast. We didn't totally freeze to death either which is always good! We snapped a few on the beach in Duck, NC in front of the house we rented, some at Duck Park in Duck, NC and a few more in Manteo, NC on our way home.

Love Katherine's Megan Thorne custom ring...I was able to help Taylor purchase it while in NYC this summer...so so fun! 

2013 Mini Christmas Sessions

I am so thankful for the families I have been able to work with this year! The Morgan and Jennings families are two of the best. And a big congratulations to the Morgan's as they have a sweet girly bundle headed their way very soon. Maybe I should introduce them to the Jennings family as I think they know a thing or two about little girls by now. Speaking of little girls...these are quite possible two of the cutest little girls ever. I think I could compose an entire post of the many faces of Jewel (the oldest of the two). She is priceless. Not only did she keep me on my toes but laughing as well. Love that girl. 

Tyler's Senior Session

On an unseasonably cold Fall morning this young man crawled out of the bed to spend some time with me in front of the camera. I was told he had more fun during our shoot than on others he has participated in before...well, I certainly had fun! I got to spend some time with a curious colt, some friendly pups, a barn full of surprises and one of the sweetest high school seniors in the area.

Hicks + Hardy

This year I had the pleasure of kicking my Fall off with a lovely couple on one of the most perfect Fall days in the mountains of East Tennessee. It really is such an honor for me to share in such special moments with couples like Laura and Jason. I am continually reminded of how much of a softy/romantic I am when I capture things like their "first look" or their first kiss and touching toasts shared by friends and family...the list just goes on and I remind myself to push the shutter button no matter the tears that may or may not be welling up in my eyes.
