Welcome Addison Elizabeth!

Not too long ago I shared some parents-to-be photos of Addison's sweet mom and dad. Being able to document some of the first few days of their young one's life is such a joy. I mean, she is too cute. Such a pleasure to meet Miss Addison! We bonded over our shared middle name and wine colored birth marks. :-)

Holliday Family

Miss Virginia is turning one next month and it was time for a few photos. I took her newborn pictures and haven't seen her since then due to the length of the state of Tennessee and our placement on each end. This child. If you can't tell, she has a lot of energy and is just hysterical. I don't think I stopped laughing from the time she got out of the car until we left each other. Well, until I looked at the photos again at least. She cracks me up.

Oh, I also learned my husband is great with a baby rattle. Virginia loved smiling for him.

Nashville Lovin: Kavon + Jillian

Timing was everything with Kavon and Jillian's engagement shoot. Jillian works in Ireland and was home over Christmas for only a number of days and I happen to be passing through Nashville at just the right time. Not only that, we had rain that seemed as though it would never stop and temperatures that weren't ideal for being outdoors. Then, in just a couple of hours the clouds blew out, the sun shined bright and the temperature was perfect.

I am so glad this sweet couple let me spend some time with them. It couldn't have been more enjoyable. And I forgot how much fun it is to shoot in an urban setting. Nashville will never lose it's place in my heart.
