Hayden's First Birthday

They are the cutest. 

Hayden has turned 1!! Do you remember his sweet pictures from mini sessions last year? I can't believe this little guy is 1. And I don't think his parents can believe it either. I had such a blast at his party and have shared more about the decor and such over on Paper Pearl so check that out. It was a mustache and bow-tie theme if you can't tell.

We had a quick few minutes for some photos before the party began and of course I had to document all the fun during the partay ya'll. I love it all. So much fun I tell ya!

Congratulations Melinda!

I realized on my way to Melinda's shoot that about 10 years ago I was doing the same thing with my mother that she and her mother were about to do...a high school senior portrait session. Yes, I said 10 years. It's hard to say.

But back to Melinda's excitement! I had to hold myself back from posting every image we took...this beautiful girl did not take a bad picture. And the setting of the Knoxville Botanical Gardens was absolutely perfect and at peak bloom! So beautiful. Everything about this session.

Keeping up with the Joneses in Paducah

While visiting baby Ian in Paducah I was also able to meet and spend some time with the Joneses of Paducah. This family of four is busy with their 4 year-old and their 6 week-old. I might have worked up a sweat trying to keep up with their busy and expressive 4 year-old. I love the imagination of that kid. They might have a budding actress on their hands.

Introducing Mr. Ian Hugh

I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Mr. Ian Hugh a couple of weekends ago and he is a quite splendid fellow. He enjoys eating and being held. He really enjoys eating the most because both of his favorite things happen at the same time. I can't wait to see what adventures this little guy has throughout his life. Between his airplane-loving Great Grandpa and his mother's African roots, who knows where this little guy will go. The photos of the planes I am sharing were handmade by Great Grandfather Hugh.

Miss Berkley Grace

Miss Berkley Grace is already a go-getter like her momma. She decided she was coming early and what a joy it is to have her sooner than expected. I can not wait to see what this enthusiastic little one does in her life.
