Hicks + Hardy

This year I had the pleasure of kicking my Fall off with a lovely couple on one of the most perfect Fall days in the mountains of East Tennessee. It really is such an honor for me to share in such special moments with couples like Laura and Jason. I am continually reminded of how much of a softy/romantic I am when I capture things like their "first look" or their first kiss and touching toasts shared by friends and family...the list just goes on and I remind myself to push the shutter button no matter the tears that may or may not be welling up in my eyes.

Thank you again to Laura and Jason for allowing me to share in their moments!

Mini session fun!

Hello friends! It is that time of year. My favorite time of year! What better way to celebrate Fall than with some individual or family photos?

I am currently booking mini sessions for the months of October and November. The November dates will be more focused on photos for your holiday greeting cards. If you are in Knoxville, meet me at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens for the October Session. Please email (alisonmcquainphotography@gmail.com) or facebook me to schedule your time or get answers to any questions you might have. You better hurry! There is only so much time in a day!

Sweet Addison Harb

I cannot express how much of a joy it is to continue sharing moments with others throughout major stages of their life. Last week I was able to do that with Amanda and Richard Harb. You may remember their pre-Addison session; they now have the most lovely little bundle. Many congratulations to Amanda and Richard!

I love their other child too. He is one happy pup.

The proud grandmothers. Addison's middle name is Kelli...after both of her grandmothers.

Schmoyer + Smith

Excitedly, we returned to TN from NYC because of a certain event. A certain wedding of two fabulous neighbors of ours. It was a fantastic DIY, mountain wedding. It was just lovely. The activities were fun-filled and the nuptials were short and sweet! Greta grew her own flowers, Zach brewed his own beer and they shared some wonderful homemade food with their guests.

My favorite wedding guest showing me some love

I do hope you notice that her shoes match her flowers...

Their bands are quarters from their other half's state...so cool!

As a wise man once said..."Zach and Greta!!!!!"

Conley + Reynolds

Caitlin and Ryan tied the knot in East Tennessee were they grew up, met and fell in love. They were married in a church rich in family history and adorned the alter with a candelabra their parents used in their own wedding. These two were covered in love and laughter at their rehearsal dinner and reception. I was invited to share in all of their sweet wedding-weekend moments. I hope you enjoy this preview as much as I enjoyed being a part! To Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds!

Mother of the Groom's famous cookies - loved the presentation!
